About the Instructor
Jacob Bear earned a bachelors degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. While in college, he worked for the world-class botanist Ray Collett in the UC Santa Cruz Arboretum. He also did restoration work in various California State Parks as a volunteer.Since 2010 Jacob Bear has taught biology at a pilot school in Los Angeles.
